GROUP RIDES

SATURDAY 9AM

Creative Gardens (car park),

Inter 1 Group

For beginners or those who wish to enjoy a relaxed shorter ride and a very comfortable pace. Usually a ride of approximately 15 miles at an average pace of 10-12 mph.

Inter 2 Group

For those keen to ride a slightly longer and slightly faster paced ride. Normally distances of approximately 25 - 30 miles at an average pace of 14 mph.

Advanced Group

For those looking to cycle around 40 - 60 miles with an average pace of 16-18 mph, covering more challenging terrain.

Regardless of the normal distances/pace please be mindful that each group will only ride at a pace or distance comfortable for the entire group and this will be governed by our ride leaders. NO GROUP WILL EVER RIDE OFF AND LEAVE YOU ON YOUR OWN!

In order to ensure you enjoy the ride we suggest picking a group which you will be comfortable with and if after the first ride you discover this was too easy or not challenging enough, then moving onto the next group.

All abilities welcome!

SATURDAY COFFEE STOPS

It wouldn't be a proper group ride without a coffee stop.

Each group will endeavour to take a break at the half way point of the ride for coffee, cake (or tea if you prefer) and of course a good old fashioned catch-up.

MID WEEK RIDES

We also have a number of morning (Inter 2) and evening group rides (Inter 2 & Advanced groups) open to everyone.
